Dr. Miyashiro

Dr. Linda Miyashiro joined IVS in December of 2008. Born and raised in Southern California, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of California at San Diego in 1993. She received her Veterinary degree from Ross University and completed a clinical year at Washington State University. Dr. Miyashiro practiced clinical medicine in New York for several years before realizing there’s no place like home and returned to sunny Southern California.

It was evident at a young age that Dr. Miyashiro would have a career working with animals. Her interest in veterinary medicine peaked when she was allowed to observe an orthopedic surgery on a Pomeranian.

Pets have always been important members of her family. She values the confidence clients have in her when entrusted with their beloved pet. Dr. Miyashiro enjoys veterinary medicine and surgery.

Dr. Miyashiro lives with her husband, Don and their two dogs, "Sydney", a Golden Retriever and "Phoebe", a Poodle Shih-tzu mix.
